Violet Films is a London-based production company founded by Academy Award®️-winning filmmaker Joanna Natasegara. Violet Films’ work finds the political in the personal, tackling global issues with an intimate lens.
Violet has received over 100 award nominations and 64 wins, including one BAFTA, two BIFA (with one win), four Academy (with one win), and five Emmy nominations (with two wins); as well as two Peabody Awards. With over 150 screenings at Telluride, Sundance, Tribeca and more, Violet has an established presence at festivals around the world.
